We had identified the horizontal irregularities on buildings like asymmetrical plan and vertical irregularities like irregularity in vertical discontinuity, vertical geometric irregularities etc. on collecting some data related to this topic through the past studies and references. The study of seismic analysis includes plan selection, selection criteria of irregularities, load calculation, load combination, analytical calculations and static analysis. The analysis was carried out by considering seismic zones v and for medium soil. Equivalent Static Method was used where we found outcomes as load calculation and design in ETABS software. The comparative study of regular and irregular building using IS code 1893-2016 was carried out.
